COVID-19 Policies & Procedures
| • | With the beginning of the 2023-24 school year, COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required for students in BEECC, consistent with VDH vaccination requirements for school age children. However, the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics recommend COVID-19 vaccine for everyone 6 months of age and older, and we continue to promote and strongly encourage COVID-19 vaccination for students. Masking is optional for BEECC students. | ||

Inclement Weather Policy
BEECC closings and delays are determined by the BEECC Operations Director in consultation with the CBE Executive Director. BEECC may be canceled, delayed or closed early on any day that we feel the safety of our students and staff members is in jeopardy. This may be related to weather, health or safety issues within the building, or other unforeseen circumstances. BEECC inclement weather closings and delays may be determined independently of Fairfax County and/or Loudoun County.
Delay and closure notifications will be sent via text and email to all parents as soon as a decision has been made.
BEECC's Parents' Association (the PA) organizes and runs fundraisers and social events throughout the school year. For the 2022-2023 school year, Sheryl Roth and Shiri Hickman are the Co-Presidents. We are always looking for volunteers to help us bring back community and connections for this year.
