2024 Shofar Showdown Registration

Compete in our first ever Shofar Showdown! Check out the categories for competition below. Competitors can sign up for as few as one round or as many as all of them. The Showdown will be judged by our celebrity Beit Din.

Round 1: Best Choreographed Group Shofar Performance, a category for teams or groups performing together.
Round 2: Most Realistic-sounding Mating Call for an Ostrich, or best animal imitation with Shofar
Round 3: Longest Toot (T’kiya G’dola), “longest” by time; not distance. A shofar can’t run. That’s ridiculous.
Round 4: Most Colorful Face, match your face mid-Shofar blow to an array of paint chips.
Round 5: Play that Tune, songs selected by the Shofar Showdown Beit Din.
Round 6: Longest Toot by Distance, how far can you run while blowing a shofar without taking a breath? Turns out a shofar can run!
