Creating the Best in Jewish Education
The Jewish sages teach that "the world stands on three things: Torah, Avodah, and G'milut Hasadim" (Avot 1:2). These pursuits--study, worship, and deeds of loving kindness--provide the framework within which Jews build their relationship with G-d, with one another and with the world. Our school's program of study is based upon these three core Jewish values. Our core curriculum is designed to coincide with the developmental stages of children at each appropriate grade.
Congregation Beth Emeth’s Religious School keeps Jewish learning relevant to our student’s lives. The CBE curriculum provides students with not only the traditional Jewish education, but also the tools to live their lives as Conservative Jews in today’s world. Our goal at CBE is to plant the seeds of life-long learning through meaningful Jewish exploration, hands-on-learning, and family education.

Worship Services for Children
In addition to our classroom experiences, students and their families are encouraged to participate in worship services. There is always the opportunity to join in the celebration of Shabbat Friday evenings and Saturday mornings in the sanctuary. We also host worship services specially developed for children of varying ages including Ruach Shabbat with instrumentation for elementary school-aged children, Shalom Shabbat for preschoolers up through Grade 1, and monthly Friday Evening Family Services led by our rabbi. We also host age-level services during the High Holiday services providing children an interactive worship experience with their peers, including a special Teen Service for our Chai School students. For further details and a schedule of these services, please see Chlldren and Services.
