Friday, May 5

  • 6:15 PM, Shabbat Family Service with participation by the BEECC Bet class, followed by Oneg Shabbat in Rooms 8 & 9.
  • 8:00 PM, Erev Shabbat Service followed by Oneg Shabbat in the Lobby sponsored by Sisterhood.

Saturday, May 6

  • 9:00 AM, Shabbat Morning Service when we will celebrate with the Small family as Joshua becomes a bar mitzvah. The service will be followed by kiddush luncheon in the Social Hall/Flex Space sponsored by the Small family in honor of the occasion. Special thanks to Donna Paley for serving as greeter and to the Fink and Moldover families for ushering for this service.

  • 6:30 PM, Congregational Shabbat Dinner Honoring our Chai Members (18+ Years)

Saturday, May 13

  • 9:00 AM, Shabbat Morning Service when we will celebrate May birthdays and anniversaries with a special group aliyah, and celebrate with the Melissa & Todd Katz family as Calleigh becomes a bat mitzvah. The service will be followed by kiddush in the Social Hall sponsored by the Katz family in honor of the occasion. Special thanks to Judy Bergman for serving as greeter and to the Shraga and Friedman families for ushering for this service.

Saturday, May 20

  • 9:00 AM, Shabbat Morning Service and Celebration of Learning. Join us for a special Shabbat morning service to share with your fellow learners ages 0-100 and to honor our teachers! There will also be exhibits showcasing what we’ve learned, so please check them out after services. The service will be followed by kiddush luncheon in the Social Hall/Flex Space. Special thanks to Debra David for giving the D’var Torah, to Jamie MacDonald for serving as greeter and to the Karen & Rodney Feldman family for ushering for this service.

Friday, May 26

  • 7:30 PM, L’Chayim Erev Shabbat Service. To life! Celebrate Shabbat and “National Wine Tasting Day” with us. We’ll have a selection of kosher wines to share at 7:30, with services beginning at 8:00. The service will be followed by Oneg Shabbat in the Lobby.

Saturday, May 27

  • 9:00 AM, Shabbat Morning Service when we will celebrate with Devin & Michael Wurman on the naming of their daughter, and with the Schuman family as Miranda becomes a bat mitzvah. The service will be followed by kiddush in the Social Hall sponsored by the Schuman family in honor of the occasion. Special thanks to Kate Brown for serving as greeter and to the Fink and Winston families for ushering for this service.

Worship Service Notes:

Large print and Braille siddurim, assistive listening devices and a stair lift to the bimah are available. Please see one of the ushers in the lobby for assistance.

We have children’s books at the back of the sanctuary for the reading pleasure of our little ones. Also, a play area for young children accompanied by a parent has been set up in the library. Check out the children’s reading corner there.

As a courtesy to other worshippers, please silence pagers and cell phones. We appreciate your help in making our sanctuary a sacred space.
