Joyous, spiritual, educational, and most of all participatory! Services are lay-led, and we encourage congregants of all ages to broaden their spiritual horizons by learning and/or improving their skills as service leaders, torah readers and active participants.
Our services are traditional and egalitarian, but with our own flavor. Rabbi Mina's short "Tefilla Moments" and Drashot are interesting and thought-provoking; selected Drashot are available on the Rabbi's blog "Mina's Musings." Our award-winning Caleb's Challenge program allows our 5th-7th graders to reflect upon complex torah-related questions. One unique way we make chanting Torah more accessible is to have photos of torah readings -- in our actual torahs -- available online for practice.
