About Megan

Megan Berman was a member of the Beth Emeth Confirmation Class of 2000. She was a typical 15 year old teenage girl who was excited about finishing her sophomore year at Chantilly High School and spending her summer with her friends from school and from the SEABOARD Region of United Synagogue Youth (USY). Megan had a growing interest in photography and creative writing and enjoyed listening to her favorite musical artists. Tragically, she was killed while a passenger in an automobile accident only one week after her Confirmation. The Beth Emeth Sisterhood decided to honor her memory with the Megan's Muse Creative Arts Competition shortly thereafter.
