Did your child (3rd grade or older) attend a Jewish camp or program experience this summer? Are you a member of Beth Emeth Sisterhood (as of January 2, of the year you are applying)? If you answered “yes” to both questions, then keep reading! Sisterhood Camp Cash awards can provide cash to help with the cost of Jewish camps or travel programs taken during the summer of 2023. The awards occur in the fall after the camp experience.
The process is simple. Briefly, your child will complete the application checklist, answer questions about their camp experiences, and submit to "Sisterhood Camp Cash" at Beth Emeth or via email to sisterhood@bethemeth.org (subject: attn: Camp Cash), no later than the first Sunday after Labor Day (September 8, 2024).
Is it really that easy? Well, yes...and in return we encourage you to volunteer for a Sisterhood activity, such as helping in the Gift Shop, which provides much of the award money, or a Sisterhood event). We’d also like a picture of your child having a great time at the summer experience for publication in the CBE Shofar or on the web site.
